About TerraPoint

Large-firm depth, without the layers

TerraPoint Environmental Consulting is an Austin-based geologic and environmental practice founded by Brian Cowan, P.G., a Texas-licensed Professional Geoscientist with nearly two decades of consulting experience. Before founding TerraPoint, Brian served as the National Subject Matter Expert for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at Stantec, one of North America's largest engineering and environmental consulting firms.

The practice pairs that experience with a modern production system: senior judgment on every deliverable, automation on the paperwork around it. Clients get the depth of a large-firm review at the speed of a firm built without layers.

TerraPoint is represented on the ASTM subcommittees that develop the standards this work is performed to: E50.02, which maintains the E1527 Phase I and E1903 Phase II environmental site assessment standards, and D18.27 on Karst, which develops the national standards for karst terrain assessment.
